took it in to the dealership to get rectifier replaced got my bike back and it feels like they adjusted my suspension also feels like i have better throttle responce just wondering if rectifier would have anything thing to do with throttle responce. and if any one has pix of stock adjustments on their bike is their anything they could adjust to make it more responsive

It is doubtful a dealership will take a moment of their time more then they have to on anyone's bike so i doubt they touched your suspension settings.
If the bike was not charging, then it was likely down on power as it was running off the battery, so the new regulator would make a difference in throttle response.

Well they "adjusted" my clutch. I guess the way "I" liked it wasn't the way its supposed to be. I hate when they fuck with my bike parts that have nothing to do with what they are actually supposed to be doing.

thats why i hate dealers. over charge for a crappy service. fuck that i rather do my own work on my bike.

the new rectifiers are designed to auto-tune your suspension. the old ones didnt and it caused problems. now that they charge correctly, your suspension is auto-tuned properly.

I got my bike back from the recall and my gas tank prop rod was missing, fingerprints everyware and one frame button missing. I haven't lifted the tank yet to see what else. I went back to get the prop rod asked for another button, what do you think happened. No dice. Probably my fault for not checking when i picked it up. I was distracted while looking the bike over. :crazy

This is exactly why I do my own work.

So i just dropped mine off today for the rectifier to be done, along with a new front tire and an oil change. Signed for those 3 items and no more.

1. I got the recall on 3/10 and noticed it said within 10 days of this notice, I don't know how i failed to not read that when the notice came. Did you guys get charged and suzuki reimburses or do the dealers not give a crap and not charge either?

2. My bike has 7,500 miles and the service guy said what other maintenance have you done besides oil changes..what else is needed besides oil, tires, brakes and occasional coolant and brake fluid? Didn't think valve adjustments were necessary..
