My 04 gsxr1000 dies out on me can someone help

Hi I'm new to this site. Can someone please help me out with my
problem I'm having wit my bike.
My bike shut off on me when I'm riding sometimes and when I'm just sitting at a red light. And when it's running I just rev the engine it feel like it wants to die out on me. Can some please help me with this problem. Thanks

if you havnt already checked the obvious i would start by checking your air filter and spark plugs. Second i would check your side stand switch i could be shuting itself off at red cause your spring is weak. Next i would check and if cracked replace the few vacuum hoses on the motor (my 1000 was running bad and checking that my spark plugs where torqued correctly and replacing vacuum hoses solved my issues). You never mentioned if you had a power commander or not, i experienced some similar problems when my pc3 only had a tune of the website soon as i had it dyno`d ran like a champ. Im no expert but if none of this helps i would start checking that your fuel pump is working correctly (buzzez/squeals when you key on.

Fix your idle. My 05 did that. I would ride, pull the cluth to shift gears and it would die. And if it's dying at stop lights, adjust your idle a little higher.

I got it adjusted and I haven't had a problem since.
