So I took my set of almost new Michelin Power Pures off my bike because I am selling it and swapped them of an older set of tires. The Pures were 120/60/17 front and 180/55/17. The new tires are a Pure 120/60/17 front and a PP 2ct 190/50/17. I have never run a 190 on the rear of my bike but I got the 2 for 30bucks along with a bunch of other parts from the same guy. I have searched and read up on 190's and all I have got is mixed emotions about the tires on a 600. Looks to me like it flattens out the profile of the tire which would make turn ins take longer. Am I correct on this? I only road my bike on this tire for about an hour and to me it feels sluggish to turn as opposed to my 180. Can anyone think of an advantage besides it makes your bike look cooler. Which BTW is one reason I got it so I can put "190" in the ad because apparently this grabs people's attention. What are yalls thoughts on this subject? I would like to know because I am trying this 190 out until it is sold and trying to figure out what sizing I may run in the future. So far it looks like 180.
Thanks
