a different swingarm will probably throw off the geometry of your suspension. i know swapping shocks and forks can alter ride height and affect cornering. why the 04 swingarm? cool points? a 600 apparently does not have the power to need a braced swingarm so they did not come factory with them. the 750 and y2k 1000's did.

If it says 190, it's a 98/99 SRAD 750 swinger.
The 96/97 was 180 section rear.
At least in Australia.

looks identical to my 98 srad 750 swingarm.

what year is your 600?

GSXR750 swing arms 61000-33E10=pre 2000(X) 61000-3500 (Y) 20mm longer
I changed my swing arm on my bike 1998 Srad, I fitted a 2000 (Y) 750 swing arm, (check the pic in bike of the month) I only did it for look's, the main difference was the length of the swing arm, the 2000(Y) 750 swing arm was 20mm longer than previous models, so it altered the ride height by the same amount "check the high heel side stand" (I had a 20mm bit welded onto the bottom) also the rear brake torque arm needed to be changed because the bolt mounting point is in a different place & finally the chain needed to be longer, 112 teeth I think, that's about it, I also put a Nitron shock on & she still rides great, I don't know if they changed the length of the 600 swing arm after 2000, I doubt it, though, I hope this is of some help...................

You sure? My 97 had 190 (Michelin reccomended) on the sticker.
I stand corrected by my learned friend.
I was always led by my dealership that the SRAD of 96/97 were shod with 180, and the 98/99 a 190 section.
My 1996 750 (bought as an ex-demo bike in July 96) had a 180 section Dunlop rear on it.
