long island is the absolute worst place to ride a sportbike imo.

the cops hate us, the troopers hate us, and they will do ruthless, horrible things to you to get you to pull over, and even worse things to you once you do pull over.
Troof. Im so glad I finally got the fuck outta there. Everytime you gear up you have the thought in the back of your mind of "What and how am I going to get pulled over today". 3 out of 10 times you are getting teh shaft by some sort of NY authority. :grrr

Florida isn't bad however they tend to have days of weeks where they are ruthless and stop every sport bike they see. We don't catch near as much shit as they do in New York or Jersey.
Havent seen a sport bike pulled over yet in the 5 years I have lived in FL. Its the cruisers/****(Harley) that get it. But then again a 60 year old design can only get you so far in a hot pursuit.

I've never heard of anyone getting bikes stolen in WNC must be an eastern thing... The roads are great the cops stick to the city and only write tickets if you crash doing stupid shut and damage property move here we need more sport bikes and less cruisers that think the speed limit is to devised by two in the corners and to doubled or tripled in the straights

If you want your bike to disappear, just bring it to San Antonio, and leave it in any apartment complex for 45 mins. :shifty

And the police dont care and won't follow up on anything. I gave them a copy of the video from my apartment, where a 1991 white ranger and a 98 red buick, both with very clear license plates, cut the gate open, picked up my 07 SV650S. The cops never even so much as started the paperwork for an investigation. VGR442 and 47NFL2 are the plates.. I'll never forget, and I hope I see them around some day hahaha

STATE:Hawaii.... don't let the year round riding weather fool you... I got my back here last week... took my bike out and within the first 10 minutes already go pulled over... They gave me a ticket for not having my state inspection done and having out of state plates... your supposed to have 30 days to get it taken care of... It had been dropped off about 30 before....

2nd reason... my bike is now stolen... I had it parked in front of a pillar away from the street in my covered parking area... the day it was stolen was the day my alarm system came in... they drove in... picked it up... loaded it... and now it's gone...

If you don't get pulled over... riding down the highway at 55 max is total crap... and they steal bikes like crazy here... i reported what happened to my new command and they said that this year alone i was the 4th person.... to have his bike stolen...

Seems a bit of a biased poll :(

Road wise I drove through Missouri last week all the way up through southern Illinois and into Indiana and I've got to say that missouri's roads are so horrdibly bad, I looked them up on the Dept. of Transpo's thing and they said they were ranked bottom 5 in the nation so I feel bad for any other state (probably louisana from the looks of it) that is worse :(
