new york is bullshit. i am tired of trying to leave my HOUSE and getting pulled over for utter shit.
i am growing so tired, that im about to sell my daily and just use my track bike.
share experiences, pls

p.s i only gave the option for new york state and new york city as i cannot imagine a worse state to own/operate a motorcycle in. the police are ruthless, the roads are absolute dog shit

NY police (not just the city) are all ruthless. So desperate for revenue, especially Syracuse... that city is dead, and somehow still dying. They'll pull you over and write you up six different ways for not using a blinker. The State troopers are usually cool, because their stations are in no risk of going anywhere

its bc they think you have money since you can buy a toy! so they figure hey get em!

How do they know IT is a toy? I am so broke I had to sell my car to pay bills. I used whats left for a bike so I can go to work. My bike is a POS, rebuild with many, many miles on it. I just keep it clean and running perfect because that's just me.

Hmmm never had a problem here in Rochester . Been riding for 24 years here and have never been pulled over on the bike .

If you think the roads in New York are shit you haven't seen the roads in Louisiana yet!
+1 and the only thing worse than our roads is our drivers!

long island is the absolute worst place to ride a sportbike imo.

the cops hate us, the troopers hate us, and they will do ruthless, horrible things to you to get you to pull over, and even worse things to you once you do pull over.

The roads here are terrible. I bottom out in my 240sx ever time I take it out, and my coilovers are at the highest setting! Our city isnt too bad. Ive been let go every time for I got pulled over in the car for launching the car spinning up to like 50mph, racing, watching races, drifting, taking curves really fast. But if you cross the bridge and go into Bossier youre in a completely different environment with police. Youll get pulled over just because of the way your car looks. Youll get an exhaust ticket, youll get a headlight ticket if you have HID's, and they'll find 40 other tickets to write you.

came here in just to post this.

for the most part cops are cool around here and don't mess with you too hard about little shit but the roads are horrible.

newspaper did an article on a street in new orleans where a tree about 3 ft. tall was growing out of a pothole in the middle of the street.
