Hey guys. Wow I thought maybe everyone moved on. It's great to see so many of you still have your bikes. Personally I've never had a better ride. Thank you for sharing. The mileage some of you have is crazy impressive. Keep sharing. Well, I'm off to ride up in the San bernardino mountains. I'll share a pic later.

I've had mine since Sept. 05 and have had zero problems. It has 18,500 miles and is strong as ever. Akrapovic and level one racing + power commander =166 HP to the ground. WE should all enjoy our bikes because they are the last of the long stroke torque monsters. After this all the inline 4s started going with shorter stroke/ higher revving models.

I still have my Blue/White K5! Bought it new in spring '05. It has 7,000 miles on her and she has yet to see rain! (I know...I'm a fair-weather fan). Perfect condition still with zero troubles but did have the frame support added under the recall. It has a Yosh carbon pipe with custom map = 163 rwhp! Also still has the original clutch.

I got mine in may have 06. I got 34k out the first motor(stock clutch) I have about 2500 miles on this motor. I had it dynoed and the chain slacked up went two wide through the water pump. The chain ripped the water pump off the motor and chewed all sorts of cool stuff off. Needless to say, I wont be using a pedestal dyno again. I rode the 07's when we got our first one in and passed, same with the 09's. i just cant get rid of my o6.

I bought my blue and white in april 05. It just turned 50K miles. I recently replaced all the plastics. No problems at all. Probably the most solid bike I have ever had from suzuki. See pics of my to fav. things....
Looks good, who did your plastics?

I got those plastics from ebay for $550 from Hong Kong. That was total with shipping. Best 550 I ever spent on plastics. It cost me an additional $150 get the tank painted white and I pinstriped the tank myself. all the body decals are under the clear coat.

Looks good i must say...Looks like some Auctmarts type of deal there...Either way, that is nice!!

Febuary 06 with two miles, last august did my first trackday with 34,xxx miles. Has been in track trim ever since. Ten trackdays and 2,xxx miles later, almost done with safety wiring, collecting extras. About to get my race licence. I ride my R1100gs on the street. No problems, and won't get rid of her, cause she was a valintines day present from the wifey!!!!

Hi Guys,

I bought mine on 31/05/2005 & have just clocked 60,000 Kilometres (37,000 Miles), every year we do a 6000 Kilometre two week ride to Phillip Island for the MotoGP, no highways, just crisscrossing the Great Dividing Range on the East Coast of Australia all the way down & back.

Suzi is running strong, I will pst some photos soon.

Cheers guys :cheers

Bought mine July 2nd 2006 showroom floor. $9700 OTD IIRC.

30k miles and down 4 times, not a single issue to date. :cheers

Oil,filter, tires. Repeat. :biggrin

Bought mine new in the spring of '05 for the sole purpose of racing it. After a couple nasty crashes and a sudden and unexpected retirement from racing, bike sat for nearly two years in the garage except for the odd track day.

Finally got around to turning it into a streeter with the original stock plastics, etc. Bike had less than 4K miles indicated at the time. Done mostly freeway commuting since being put into full service last summer. Now with a Speedohealer on it, it has over 11K miles.

Had quite a few relatively minor gremlins over the last year. Mostly involving electronics of some sort. Bike has lots of mods and it's sometimes difficult to chase down the source of the problem.

Still running with my racing suspension setup and it feels rather wooden. Been too lazy to address it. Otherwise it's a joy to ride. The engine is a monster. I love this bike!!!

I bought my 06 with 800 miles on it this April from a race team that used it for 2 up demo rides. I was the first person to title it, so technically I am the original owner ;)

Apart from some clogged injectors & other problems that were not the bike's fault, bike has been fine. I now have 3000 miles on it & by the end of year I will have probably crossed 10K miles.
