damn I feel like I am falling for that twitter shit....update lol, color is on it and waiting for it to flash...so in about 10 min or so I will start clearing it....going to spray 3 coats of clear....wait till next weekend and color sand it and but it out....I also bought a new windshield few months ago and sprayed it body color as well...at that time I bought a new 3 inch micro buffer off the snapon truck at work...I bought their cheaper line "Bluepoint" and it works great....small and perfect size for motorcycles and small jobs...my full size buffer is way to big for small jobs like this seat cowl but that 3 inch is perfect...easy to control....stay tuned pics to come tonight

Just to prove this is being painted at home in the dirty basement....here is the cheapest paintbooth there is....I painted to front windshield body color that same way.....after colorsanding (wetsanding) with 2000 grit paper and buffing the windshield came out smooth as a baby bottom.....I am confident this seat cowl will too.....but that will be next weekend and of course pics will follow....but for now lick your chops.....

ok Mr. Maguier visited and this is how it came out....in mind eyes nearly perfect....looks even better in person.....brand new seat pad is suppose to be here on Tuesday.....well it's siting on a Fedup truck about 15 min from me but of course I had it to come to my work and although I was there today our shipping dept/parts dept was closed today so Fedup did not deliver it....on the tracking page it says business was closed....thats funny I worked 9 hours today....Sales Dept was open...everything else closed.....but oh well...brand new seat pad will be here Tuesday...the one that came with the seat cowl was really nice but two mounting pins on back that slide into the rubber grommets were broken off...I could fix it but since the seat pad surprisingly was still avail from Zookie might as well just get new one right....so another $87 no biggie......so after that this thing will be just like new....so take a look and let me know what you think..I know I know you want to see it on the bike.....tooche` I know next week.....also remember I sell cars for a living....not paint....this is only the second time I have painted something.....I enjoy it and just learn from watching tv....

Thanks Sabba....I never knew Rattle Cans would give such good results if you buy REAL paint and follow the manufactures system/instructions...but thanks...I am VERY happy with the results....windshield is same and just as good..pics in a week or so of whole bike since I never posted them....bike is a part right now for a carb clean/rebuild/jet.....but to come....

Ok my final entry in this restore of my covetted Rear Seat Cowl for my 95 GSXR1100W....I just got my Brand New Seat Pad for her....Yes I can not believe it either....even though you can no longer get a Brand New OEM Suzuki Rear Seat Cowl....been discontinued long long ago.....BOOOOOOoooooo, You CAN still get the seat pad brand new.....of course I m not sure why you would need one unless you already have a OEM Rear Seat Cowl or find one in the near future.....but anywho....here is my final entry with pics of my final restore to her...enjoy and comments welcomed as always! Here you go...enjoy!
