chrome decals question

How hard is it to keep the chrome decals from tapeworks clean? Do they dull or get dirty fast?

I hope not because I got some from them.
From dealing with them first hand, I would say they will not fade out. They seem to be a quality company IMO. Very good guys to work with!

I am gonna order the chrome flexi chrome overlays for my yellow 750 soon. I'm looking for a different look, but haven't been able to find anyone that has the same thing done to their bike. I want to get an idea as to what it will look like

anyone got any pics of a yellow 04 600 with chrome decals on it? I've been wanting some but i dont know what it looks like and i dont want it lookin goofy

Not dull but easy to scratch
Tapeworks has nice shit
I did flexichrome overlays on the 750 decal on the tail and also the GSX on the front upper fairing

I offset the chrome on the tail to give it the red shadow effect

What do you mean easy to scratch. Do they scratch just from washing? I don't want them to look good at first but then loose that awww feeling. You know what I mean

they are not bad, just need a little extra care when cleaning around the decals. They will eventually scratch if your not chareful.

i have tapeworks decals, have reflective white decals, look like chrome w/ silver but at night when there is light on them its white, i dont have problem with decals scratching, you could also have them clearcoated if you're worried about scratching

If you want chrome tapeworks decal overlay for an 04 600 or 750 minus the 750's I have a set for sale that I didn't end up using from my full overlay set. In the classifieds....

I have the chrome decals on my bike. They will eventually start to peel, but that you can't help. I haven't scratched mine yet and they don't get dull from what I can see. They clean very easy. Tapeworks has some great stuff!!! I definitely support them.

The best thing to do is clearcoat them. That way they don't get damaged or peel. I had a Chrome Tapeworks kit on my old Double R that I clearcoated and never had a problem.
