As promised in my earlier post here's updated pics with the Motovation Sliders and Tapeworks red chrome logo's. Decided to go with just the "R" and leave the gsx in oem silver as the solid red was too "blingy". Also dropped the "SUZUKI" in red chrome on the rear rim.

Do it! Actually I'm thinking of a red powdercoat eventually on the wheels. Tough decision bcause the black are so easy. Use to have white wheels on a Buell and while they looked great it was a pain!!!! With the black I can ride for a week beofre it really looks bad. I'm thinking red would be okay. Post up some pics of your wheels pulease.

Yeah man those wheels are hot! The red chrome would match perfectly, tapeworks has alot of other stuff but I thought the way I did it was perfect. Did you have the wheels coated? If so what was the down time, cost, etc.? Also what color did they use and do you have the shops info. I could buy a set on Ebay and send 'em out for coating so as not to miss this perfect weather. Thanks for the pics.

yes, they're powder coated. A local shop did them for $200. I forgot who the manufacture of the powder is at the moment but basically it's a silver coat first then the red coat which is translucent on top. It took about a week.
Also, you have to remove the bearings before you get them PC'd and then replace them w/ new ones after. Do not reuse the bearings that you just removed.

got some new pics coming soon i reversed my colors, so the white is silver and the silver is white, got blue anonized probolt kit for all the bolts on the engine, micron exhaust, power commander, K&N, WHITE RIM tape, set vlv removed, front turn signals removed soon to be pig spotters ( any comments on that ), soon to be powder coated rear sets and pass pegs, anybody think i should go all white, still got a quart and a half of paint left so i can still do the tank the rest of the fairings . pics commin in two weeks i promise so look out its in paint now
