Cracked the lower casing.

Well chain snapped and broke the lower case today, f'n great:hammer:banghead so i got a parts bike on the way, if the lower have is good, i am swapping upper halves. Mine is punched out and would like to keep it that way. Has anyone had any problems doing this? Plus where can i get a gasket kit, piston rings and quick delivery so i can be back riding, it is my only mode of trans right now. If anyone around the Fresno Ca. area that knows a dealer that would have the shit i need let me know please. I have to do this quickly, bike is in bosses garage.

did you still end up riding up to the hills a few weeks back?

Thanks man, there isnt a good local dealer around here? No i didnt wind up riding out there, had shit come up. I was going to go on sunday with 4 other dudes:cursing. I will check the website out and see what they got.

local dealers will be more expensive. if you order what you need to using the microfiche you will save quite a bit. i take my bike to a guy in visalia, click the "proof" link under my sig and you can get his address and phone.

You can't just change the lower case half out... the lower case and upper case are machined as a unit. You can retain your top end though if that is what you meant.

Yes i want to take my upper and put it on the parts one. So i will see if it will work and go from there. Thanks for all the help.:cheers
