I like the pink as well. My "91 used to be pink and some times I wish I never painted it. Everyone knew who you were. "Oh, the guy on the pink bike." It is also fun when people I race "just got drug by that pink 750".

Nice pics. I like the 91. those wheels look good on it.

Heres mine back in the pink days.

John
Hybrid,
1)did you relocate your ign to the rt side of your batt box ? If not what is that I see in that location ?

2) How do you have the bug spray hooked up in order to get to the 120 shot ... ? You can't be dumpin it all at once ...
and what did you do to the motor to get it to handle the 120 .. ?

I wish it was mine though .... I'm partial to 56's because I was born in one ... My Dad n Mom never made it to the hospital so I popped out in the ft seat of my Dad's 56 Belair ...
This is the only thing I have left as far as cars are concerned ...

1964 Impala 2dr ht, 283/270 auto ... 100% original except for the tires, battery, upper hose and points .... 18,000 ORIGINAL UNFUCKED WITH MILES. Except for the rebuild that I did to it when I was 12 .. NO SHEETS .. But with my Dad's guidance ...

1972 Z28, 548/950, 9"/456, full cage, reverse manual 400 w/brake.

I like 56's too. I used to own one. I wish i still had it too. Best trick is asking one of your buds to put the fuel in it for you.....Hahahahahha- Always worth a good laugh.

Thats a SWEET Imp ya got there Dewd!!! And you like Camaro's too huh...You've seen the pics of mine right...

Only one you sent me I think was a wheels up shot at the track ?
The Imp and the Maro are stored in my Mom's garage in Chitown as I have no room for them up here ... I just took these on Christmas when I was down there ... I've got tons more but not on this 'puter ...
The Impala's goin on the HR Power Tour this year.

Wow, that's a lot of pink Hybrid ...
Mine is actually a 92 .. I just looked for pics of it "back in the pink days" .. couldn't find any though ... Must be on another disc or another computer
Those wheels are Carrozzeria HI POINTS ...
I like yours as well .. Are those Mitchell's or PM's ?
Yeah, they are PMs. I have two sets, one is the street weight and the other is the race weight wheels. You talk about some thin wheels. You really have to watch what you are doing when mouniting tire or you will bend them. I have my street tire on the street weight wheel and my M/T MCR2 on my race weight.

I had a set of purple anodized Chicanes that I cannot find ... Would have rather had those on my 92 because they're more period correct ...
I hope I didn't leave them in the garage after I got divorced ..... :hammer
She probably turned them into a coffee table or a clock or something ...

I have a Yosh upper triple clamp for a WC GSXR so the neck is a little bit smaller on the wc bikes so the lock and switch cylinder rubbed the OC neck. I had to find another place to put it so I mounted it there. Seems to work ok.

I have the nitrous on a thumb button below the thottle. I can get on and off the nitrous without rolling out. The motor work... Stock crank, Carrilo rods, tool steel wrist pins, widened gap rings, back cut tranny, HD tranny bearings, NOS cut Drum, billet shift shaft, Case and cylinder studs and nuts, O-ringed block, Copper head gasket, Stainless steel valves, Schnitz Pro Street box, Big exhaust, 40mm Flatslides.

The Pro Steet box is a stand alone ignition and nitrous controller. It controls the engine timing, nitrous ramp, shift timing, shift light. With last years gearing 14/48 at 60" WB I started at 20% to 100% with a 3.100 second build time. I am a big guy (weight at 6'3"- 260#) it would run 9.45 at 158 mph. I lose a lot of ET on the first 330'. I am giving my fellow racers about .2-.3 tenths by the 330' but I usually catch back up on the big end. Every one I race have long bikes. Anywhere from 65" to 63". They can leave harder than I. This years combo i am going back to 15/45 gearing and will hopefully get my build time down to about 2.1 seconds or so.

I refuse to make my bike longer. I love the fight down the track. The bike wants to wheely through third so you have to watch it. You really have to "ride" my bike. Some of these other bikes the rider is just a passager and the bike does all the work. Not for me.

That has got to be one hell of a ride man ... I've had turbo bikes before and experimented a little with N2o but never built an all N2o bike though ...
Times are a little tough right now so I don't see that happening in the near future.
The 92 in these pics has a 907 that I put together for it last year .. It runs pretty hard ....
The pearl white 90 is basically a stock 750 except for the jet kit and pipe.
I also have an 89 1100 that I just freshened up the motor on with a 1277 kit. It still needs a lot of detail work before it's truly road ready and then there's the whole pride issue too .... Gotta look good
The 88 1100/1186 in my avatar
and another 92 that I am trying to put a turbo motor together for ... That's a 1245 ... Another one that will be a while before it's done ...
I don't really know what to expect out of the 1277 this year but for now I'm happy just having 2 ridable bikes ... even though neither of them will be in the 8's this year ...

That really bites .....
I had an old 69 Nova SS that got stolen right out of my garage back when I was still in high school .... Then an 81 Wide Glide at gun point out in AZ after they drugged me with PCP ... I had taken 6 months off of work and toured the country by myself .. I was on my way back home when that happened .. :hammer

The 64 impala has been in my family since the early 70's .. My Dad bought it for $1500 with 5k on the odo with spun rod bearings .. I've had it since he passed away 10 years ago ...
They're all gone now except for the 72 Camaro and the 64 Impala.
My little brother actually owns the 72 now ... still in the family

But what does it run at the track .... You can almost get anything to run well if you know how ... just may take a little more time and money ...
There's a friend of my brothers that has an old Toyota pick up with a 283 in it, narrowed 9" and a power glide that's running 9.60's ...
Factory forged crank, o ringed block, somebody's rods, 14-1 pistons, huge cam, 18 deg heads and a 2 stage fogger .... Man he's scraping the bumper with that thing on almost every launch ... He won't let me drive it, the bastard .. :hammer

Thats all i think i have for pics of the Camaro too, wheelies. As it carries the front tires anywhere from 60 - 120 ft out every pass. Has run a best of 8.48@167 on a full kit, I like to run it at 9.60 - 9.99 most of the time.As we usually have to suffer with bracket racing here now. And its deadly consistant in that upper 9 sec bracket. It runs a little 383 stoker, has around 660hp, 500 sum lbft torque. Then ya add the 350hp NX N2o kit to that.... weighs 3000lbs, runs a 11.5 tire. The pic i sent you it had a slick on it for a wheelie contest. It usually runs a 10.5 or 11.5 DOT. It didn't have stickers on it till the season before last. But that contigency money is were its at man!!!

AHhh, heres a pic from around the 330 to 660ft i think...
The 2nd pic is one of my secret weapons, my custom ground N2o roller cam from REED.
A burnout pic from before we installed the headlights in the 'glass front end
The last is from back in Oct '06. That is what the car does on all motor. 10.30@ hell, i forget, and still wheelies like a champ!!
