So I ordered 3 HID kits from sharphid.com and just received them this morning while the repo guy was at my house haha..My GF said everything looks good, So just want to let you guys know that they give really good deals on HID kits and shipping was kind of fast even though on their website they stated that they were having some shipping delays. Need to do the blackedout headlight mod b4 installing these bad boys, so will have some new pics up soon!

glad you got yours really quick like.. how long did it take?
what was your kelvins and such?
if you got the 3 kits for the 600, then look into the option of mounting the ballasts in the air tubes, thats where i put mine for the highs and it worked great. just an option, its kind of a pain to get the tubes aart, but once you figure it out, its easy. there's like a little "box" in the bottom of each tube and the ignitor and extra wires fit ight down in there, and then velcro the ballast on the inside of the tube itself, doesnt restrict air really bc its so slim, and its out of sight completely.
lets see pics when done.

Thanks bro...I ordered them last Monday and they came in this morning. I ordered the 55w 12000K and then for the highbeams I went with a 35w 3000K. I don't care about getting pulled over and shit, if they were gooing to pull you over for lights they were going to do it anyway! I was actually going to use yours or someone elses velcro idea and definently put all the wires in the intake tubes or clean it up some how. I'm excited to go home and strip the bike down!

damn thats a really high rating for the low, but thats cool if thats what you want..
but ne ways.
ya just hide all the wires and ballast, and ignitor in there, and then take the low beam ballast and ignitor and hide it up underneath the guage cluster and zip tie it in really well, you ll have to take the cluster off first, (one bolt) and look to see how and do it, but it cleans things up and everything is up and outa the way.
oh and make sure you take about a day or two to do this bc you want to do it ight the first time so you dont have to go bac and re do it over and over again for sure!!

Well not so Thanks to sharphid...fuckers sent me a 4300k H1 and I had no idea until the entire front end of the bike is spread out across my garage floor. So I was doing the install lastnight including the black housing headlight mod. I installed the High Beams first, plugged it up turned the key and boom it worked..so cool going about my business and then I notice the two pins didn't fit into the oem connecter, so FUCK I get pissed and start my own hack job. I cut off the oem connecter and cut off the other connecters on the HID bulb and hard wire the bitch, just to turn on the HID and notice its not even a fuckin 12000k, its a 4300k. So couldn't complete the install and now my bike is neglected in pieces, email sharphid to come up with a resolution to my situation fast! Haven't herd shit from them yet...sorry I'm having a vulger day

Damn that sucks ....

Will they even take the 4300 back after you cut the wires on it?

if you didnt cut the bulb wires them selves you will be ok i believe, you didnt have to cut the wires, bc if you would have read the Sticky for the K8 section , there are numerous posts about changing the polarity on the low beam connector for that kit.. all you had to do was push the two prongs out and switch them, the highs you dont.
so really the cutting was not needed, and i am sorry to hear about the mix up, that sucks, but at east you only wait one week, rather 3 1/2 like i did!!! give them a call and talk to gerard i think...

I read the whole sticky post like 2 times haha, the prongs were just way too big and pushing them closer or seperating the one prong over and going about it that way was not an option cause the prong is physically too big, only solution I saw was shaving it down or making it skinnier...O well it blows chunks and I just wanted to go home tonight and put it all back together!

Just spoke to sharphid..he's sending a new bulb overnight, so now I'm going to wait to see how this kit is and re-connect my oem connector. No biggie, just glad they are taking care of this in a timely manor! ok Thanks again sharpHID haha

well you didnt have to bend anyhting and they are nt to big, you jsut have to move the little plastic connector down at the bottom then give them a good tug, i did mine in like 3 min once i figured it out, and you only have to do it to the highs which is nice.
but if you ve already cut the wires and stuff, its too late now, jsut remember that you cant put the stock bulb bac in now unless you cut it again, and redo it back to stock

Yeah I'm fuckin retarded...haha I was soo pissed off about the whole repo guy and I didn't even let my GF into the garage lastnight, and when she went to walk the dog I asked her to go out the front I was soo heated. Imagine all that shit I went thru, then my car threw a misfire that caused the CEL to come one, so I was having a shitty ass day!!! The only thing I looked foward to was working on the bike and when that seemed to fail at the end...I was like fuck it, and decided to go old skool! Yeah its way cleaner with the oem connector but works just as good, plus I know for a fact this was not the H11 bulb that was given to me. I compared it to everyone elses DDM kit with the H11 and I looked up the H1 kits on google...I have the pics saved at home but if you look at the connectors they are completely different in size. You may also be right and I'm retarded again but I was so pissed lastnight I just smoked a little and got that fuck it in my system

Did you guys know that using the 55w kit it will not show the color to the fullest and will always put out a white light with a color tint? I was talking to the guy at Sharphid and he said the DDM 55w kits are brighter then usual and with my 12000k I might not get that purple blue I'm looking for...So just an FYI out there, hopefully when I get mine in tomorrow or Friday I will have a definent answer.

?????
Can I put my bike together and just wait it out for the bulbs to come one? basically do I need the front end off again or can I reach down in there and redo the bulbs?

Ok so I did this install lastnight and it was a bitch. I need to redo the whole install cause it's just not up to par on what I want. My issue also is that the front end did not fit properly. Had a lot of issues with the right side. Broke a lot of clips in the lower fairing area where both sides meet up near the headers. Frustration kicked in and I was up til 5:30am putting the bike together. I will post pics as soon as my girl sends me the pics. Looks good and I also ended up with 4 extra screws so that sucks cause I have no idea where they came from
