Just wanted to say hello to everyone. I've read the site for a few months and decided to join today. I work at Yamaha Suzuki of Texas in the parts dept. so if you have any questions on things (pref. motorcyle related) just let me know.. I have a 04 gsxr 600 for the street and a KTM 380 for the dirt.. aside from that and not knowing wha t else to say, it's good to be here and look forward to talking to eveyone.

Welcome...the place you work wouldn't be Highlands yamaha suzuki would it?
My question is have you heard anything about the 600\750's cam chain tensioner on the 04 GSXRS making noise and having to be replaced?

I talked to the Techs up here and no recalls have been issued for that problem, I have not had any problems with mine and have not had anyone come in with that problem. I will however ask around to people that have them to see if it is a up comming problem. Sorry, I don't work at Highlands, I'm up in the Dallas Fort Worth area.

Sorry...couldn't resist. There was a thread last week with a few labled "squids" (not you damon) who signed up just to post shit and say 90% of sportbikes run with no mirrors or signals in the DFW area. Classic!

How are things is the big D? I lived in Irving awhile back....had fun for the short time I was there. All I remember is the traffic....it's gotta suck to ride around town in all that traffic.

Nope have the mirrors and signals on the bike...however, there are alot of guys out here that seem to think that removing those things make you faster or a racer or something. I don't know..take them off at the track...other then that they stay on.
