Gee so the two pics that I posted earlier in the week...... were right on.

Now you see why Suzuki asked to have them removed from this site.... because I **HAD** the correct pictures.

Forget the look, forget the power. Look at the changes to the engine position and chassis. A 60mm shorter engine, a 33mm longer swingarm. Look where the engine is crammed into. The handling looks to be massively improved, just based on all the packaging on it. Of course we won't know anything until someone rides it, but the track shootouts this year are going to be intense. All of the big 4 look to have some serious hardware this year.

I think it looks great. Even the exhausts are totally livable to me.

The new cluster looks fantastic too. Even the buttons are now glove friendly.
The shocks look like you can adjust both damp and rebound at the top (2 screws)
We will have REAL brakes at last - Awesome.

And you guys are forgetting that the other manufacturers had been missing the mark for a while! That's why they HAD TO build Revolutionary bikes. The gixxer has been spot on for a while now, so now need for suzuki to reinvent the wheel. I think the improvments to handling, power and braking are going to put the gixxer FIRMLY on top - AGAIN.

And the suzuki stands to gain more weight reduction as we have 2 cans to remove, where-as the cbr only has a tiny one.

The titanium looking inserts in the fairing, chassis looks great. So do the colour options on the wheels.

I'll probably trade my k6 when this finally hits our showrooms in June 2009.

:thumbup so ill be te first doubter to apologize, and was wondering did the "silverback" paypal the "jester" for the dual exhaust......... lmao.............................. i dont care much for the front end but i guess it wil grow on me........ it helped alot when i saw the black, i personally like the silver strip on it

Whats weird is, They say its smaller and it looks smaller(i dont know if you guys noticed) But according to the specs if they are correct...The wheel base and the length is the same as the k7-k8?:dunno

nevermind,iT depends on which site you go on.Some sites the wheelbase and length is the same and one site the wheelbase was slightly shorter on the k9.

dam when i saw those numbers i got real excited. I am worried with that shorter stroke we are gonna lose some btm and mid. But on one of suzuki site there claiming more hp and tq so i hope there not making shit up
