Ive my my 06 gixxer 750 for about 6 months now, and recently put new tires on it. Ever since then smell something burning but it doesn't seem like the tires are rubbing or anything is leaking. Anyone had to deal with this before.

dude your an @ss. it's not his butt, but his stinky breath he's smelling. crack the lid open a bit. that should help solve your problem.

I get the same thing. I just got my 07 600 and it had .1 miles. It smells like the engine is always burning when I ride as if it were at 700 degrees. I wasnt sure if it was un-normal or if it was just because its easier to smell the engine on a bike then if you were in a car.

If u have no leaks and u don't c smoke, I wouldn't worry bout it.

my bike smelled funny during the breakin, and when i asked the guys a suzuki what it was they said it was the packing in the exhaust. and should go awa around or after the 1500 mark

Normal. The gixxer has a light tick that you get a "perk":biggrin They all have a tick. Its when you start to hear the slapping or knocking that you need to worry. If it gets louder and you start to lose power, have your valves checked.
