How's it goin everyone, just wanted to say hey and introduse myself.
My name is greg, i'm 24 and i'm purchasing my first bike, a k7 750 this week.
I know i'm a stupid squid but i'm takin my msf class in two weeks.
My neighbors all own Gixxers and have been riding for a few years now and they are the same age.

They will teach me some stuff too, but can't wait for that course :)

So i'll be riding with them alot, they don't ride around doin crazy stuff, but
I just wanna cruise with it and pretty much just respect the bike and get into the whole bike seen.

Enough about me.....nice meetin everyone!!

good luck on your MSF, and if you are getting your 750, please be careful. Even if you chose not to ride it after you took your MSF the power from the 750 will surprise you from what you will be riding in the MSF(250cc). Take it slow and stay rubber side down

Do u have any experience on bikes prior to this one?

If no, wait until you take the course to ride it...u will be awfully sad if u drop it doing something stupid.

Other then that...welcome! Be safe, ride within your abilities, not your friends.

First off welcome to the site :cheers

Second, if you keep to what your say about taking the course first and you wear proper gear and are smart about your riding, you are not a squid.

Be careful on that sexy beast, the biggest mistake I've seen new riders do on these bikes is freak out and grab a hand full of break (they are very sensitive) and end up doing an impromptu stoppie or lock up the tire and lay it down. It sucks having to replace $500 - $1000 in fairings on a brand new bike. :crying
