Gixx 1k 02 Speedometer Stops at 299km/h: How to Modify?

I own a Gixx 1k 02, and my speedometer stops at 299km/h( 186 miles) i wonder if there is any mod i can do to change this, because i have install the tre and really want to know how much will it read on the speedometer.

Mine too, That's pretty awesome hey. I hit 299kmh in 5th gear and tapped the rev limiter and grabbed into 6th and the tach still kept going!

how fast is fast enough

Unless you have some modifications your bike won't go faster than 289 kph (real speed)., however due to speedo error it will register more. but then the display won't read over 300 kph.

I SWEAR mine kept going like I was strapped to the space shuttle then the tach just POPPED

Mine stops at 299, then I start to think of my kids and I bring it back down. I guess I am getting old?!?

Take off your +4 rear sprocket and it won't be a problem.

So there's nothing i can do to make this hapen, i mean to make the speedometer read more speed???

Listen Jeffw i went to the dynorun and in there the bike went 315km/h in 6ª gear with the rev on the limit so i guess at least the bike makes 300km/h or so, real speed, what do U thing??

I've installed pc3, K&N filter, Laser Hotcam exhaust and a hand made tre from bugman site.

The bike bike made on the dyno 161 Hp (wheel power)

That must be a very forgiving dyno you ran it on
