Look up the definition of "squid" for motorcyclists. Rim tape, or anything cosmetic for that reason has NOTHING to do with "squids". I have rim tape also. I like it. Here is a good read for your "squidish" rim tape

Definition of Squid:

A squid is an irresponsible motorcyclist. The term is derogatory and common among motorcyclists in North America.It is generally associated with a new or reckless motorcyclist seen riding erratically and/or beyond his or her capabilities, often without appropriate riding gear.

well i dont know where you found that ****. but when i saw what it ment it was a poser biker that puts lots of flashy lights and "rim tape" on their bikes even though they can hardly pull out of their own driveway.
your a noob.

Just curious... but why put on braided rear lines and leave the front lines stock? (brake) Do the front IMO that is where it will make the difference.

I'm a Squid because I put red tape on my wheels? HaHa... Im pretty sure I can pull out of my driveway just fine. I run my bike hard in the mountains pretty much every time I take it out and I've been riding for about 18 years. (That would be just about as long as you've been alive.) I've also owned many GSX-R's over the years. So I might be a noob here but thats about it.:wink:
