I had one of my front straps come loose when I was driving out here...the extra slack wrapped itself around my trailer axle and ripped the strap off the d-ring. Amazingly enough, I guess it happened while I was exiting to a gas station and I was able to notice it and keep her from falling off. I would have cried for days. :grrr
Thats why I am asking...trying to avoid towing mistakes...since I am doing tons of it

mornign mike. I'm going to buy a 2 ton foldable engine hoist for 150. Found it on ebay but the store is in el monte so they said i can just show up and pick it up and pay there. What do you think the next cheapest i found was 200 at harbor freight for a foldable 2ton.

well here are the pictures of it. Looks just like hte one i borrowed from my coworker and that one worked great. I love the fact taht the legs fold up too. Saves so much space. I was laggin on buying it but now that someone is coming to buy the blown up l05 350 that came with the vert i need a way to get it on their truck and well i need my own hoist so i'm buying this one.

Morning guys. Hey Mike, are the dial indicators sold at Harbor freight any good? i was gonna buy one but wasnt sure if it was worth the money?
