I am looking at buying another swingarm to have my extensions welded as well as bracing for the safety factor. The 07+ 1000 swingarms looks bulky in my opinion and was trying to see if the 03-04 1000 swingarm would work on this year. Let me know guys. Thanks in advance.

Your 07 rear caliper hanger and caliper are different. The rear caliper mount on the O3 is in a different location (under swingarm). You'd best get the caliper, and hanger as well, plus the brakeline which is longer on the 03.

I will have to look into this some more. I had bought a caliper relocation bracket that will work with the 05-06 caliper but not for my 07+. I am looking for the 06 caliper since I already have the bracket and I just bought a 34" extended line for the stretch that is on the bike already.

The rear is right around 3" and the front is pretty close to that. The triple tree is down as far as the forks would let it go :p Thanks for the compliment man! :cheers

Hello not ot hijack the thread but do they carry adapters to run a swing arm from a newer 1000 to a K2 1000?

In short, No. It is possible but requires machine work, I have an 05 swingarm on my 01, with +2 pivots meant for an 05, it required extensive machining of the frame itself, two spacers to be made, and second best PITA to the machining, a custom length 05 diameter pivot to be made

I love the way your bike looks also. That is how i want my bike to look, i just like cruisin and racing in a staight line which is what that is good for. +1 for lowering and stretch.

before you flame-away on bolt ons..... i have some on my k7 and run mid 9's......zero issues :cheers
in the past ive had bolt-ons on 1400 busa/nitrous-gixxer thou and even in the early stages on my old turbo busa! altho when running 300+ bhp i chose to get them welded-on due to slight flex visable on the dyno!
but..... ive never had any issues when running 200+ bhp with bolt-ons :cheers

Did you ask this question in the drag racing section? Those folks may have some more insight for you...
