well fudge........
I'm running a 600 on my 750.
with the the ecu difference could that make the bike run hot?
would that add to the lake of power? It dyno'd at 107 with K&N and full race D&D.
thanks a bunch. well I have a ecu for my newly aquired 97 600

Do carbed ones even have ecu's???

if you have a 600 ecu in your bike running a 750 engine then YES, it will equate to poor running and lack of power, the timing difference will not help either,as you are aware, the bike will run, but not right,im in the process of doing the reverse, fitted a 750 engine to a 600 frame, used the ecu at 1st but found out, it dont quite gel together even tho it runs !

get yourself the 750 eci/cdi/ignitor box and suddenly you`ll have anextra 20 horses to play with.

I'm currently looking for one right now. I dyno'd it and it put out 107. I'm hoping that will fix 2 things.
1) low HP.
2) over heating. I'm hoping it too far advanced that it''s causing it to run lean( over heating/boiling over)

On a side note I have the 750 motor in a 91 bandit frame not a 600 gsxr
