mike i have a hairline crack about an inch long on my intake manifold. it was leaking fluid from there when i would drive it. i put jbweld on it do u think it'll hold for a while? or should i try to have it welded?

That's what I have a track bike for. Man, that probably wouldn't be cheap.turn that in to this

If it's just on the water passage it should be fine. It won't see any more pressure than what your radiator cap is rated for.
they are saying that is gonna be a cheap roadracer conversion but seriously I got my track bike for 3g's and just that conversion is 3g's with out the bike :lol:wacko

its on the front on the water passage. I had recently took off the bolt in the front because i bought a autometer water temp gauge and installed it there. and i guess i overtightened it i thought i hadn't but when i installed it was fine but a few days later the crack appeared its right under the water neck. There's this bolt that goes in under the waterneck almost where the intake manifold meets the block
