Whats gained from trimming stock stacks??
I bought a set of velocity stacks and received a set for xmas.(sorry corey I had to return one) I put them on my 1000. Unfortunately I put them on myself so I didnt get the bike dynoed before I put them on. I cant give any numbers to show any improvements however I do notice a difference. Down low I dont see one. Above 7000 rpm I can tell a difference. Throughout the range things do seem alot smoother though. There is definitely a pickup at midrange that wasnt there (not that it was lacking) before. These observations may be me but it feels better. Even if I had paid for mine the difference that I feel would have been worth the money. The money could have been spent on something else but for the amount I think it was worth it.

Today I took the stacks off and put the stock stacks back on. We put the bike on the dyno to see if there was a difference. Top end it lost 3HP from the run with the stacks. It was gradual from about 5K. They do work.

The 750 and the 600 needs totally different design stacks. Marc @ Factory Pro has the stacks for the 750. Yosh doesn't make stacks for the 750 since the 750 not races anymore:sad only the 600 and 1000.

funny thing is if i was to sell my used vstacks i would be selling them for exactly what i paid for them because that is what they are worth.
