Damn, looks like some weather's moving in here. :wait

That kills most of my plans, trying to fixxer the boat, riding, kayaking. I guess I'll have to see if the Tivo at my parents place caught the GP race.

That sucks Duke. I am trying to find a kayak for my Mom. She went with some of the nurses from w8rk and fell in love with it.

Hey. There's a guy over in AG looking for eduction assistance. I remember a guy who hung out here that got 40K to learn to fly helicopters. Anyone remember his callname?

He had a ducati and it got stolen or something and he had guns in his signature.
The guys post is dreams shattered or something.

You're thinking of that guy from Daytona, it's been a bitch to remember his real screen name. I think it was engliest. Everybody called him englebert and shit because he was sort of a tool.

His Duc got stolen, so did his guns if I remember right.

I dunno about there, used kayaks are easy to find here. I can't believe how old mine is, I bought it back in about 1998 when I w*rked for West Marine and got a real nice discount on it. They didn't even sell them here at the time, I had mine transferred in from a store in Cali.

My Kayak paddle really shows its age, maybe I should start shopping for a new one.

This is the same model I've got. Maybe I should look into one of those heavy duty spray skirts like that. Mine's thin nylon and is only good for keeping little bits of water out, mine would flood if I leaned it like that.

Since I worked at Nobeltec I still know some people at West Marine, so maybe I should call in a favor.

Back. I found the problem on the boat.

I blame my old man, that's all his creation. Turns out I connected the front battery backwards. After I'd eliminated everything else, I took a real close look at the batteries. The leads to the front battery are fucked up. The positive wire has black electrical tape for several inches after the lug. The lug on the negative wire is painted with red liquid electrical tape. Being that I was reaching into a hatch to connect it up, I couldn't see far enough up the leads to see what they really were :grrr

Let's just hope that nothing got fucked up, and if I did fuck something up, it's just one battery :wait
