K7 1000, whats the best deal you got on your new k7 1k. I work at a Toyota dealership, had a guy come in on a k7 1000 and buy a tundra from me...and finally decided it was time to upgrade. Going to be trading in my 02 sixxer and opening up the suzuki card for the remaining balance. Whole reason I stopped looking to buy a new 1k, was insurance with financing. With the suzuki card I can avoid that so I'm back in the game. Now I want to figure out the lowest price out there...motorcycle sales are a bit different from Toyotas so I don't want to pass up a good deal because I think I can get it under invoice.

Tilly.... did you ever think that if you have to finance a new bike ..... maybe you cant afford one? Just a thought...lol

Can't afford? I can afford monthly payments, just not tossing out 10k minus the trade :D Besides Financing/Suzuki card helps improve credit...once you get the balance down. Don't know if you caught my title, or job...but I'm on 100% commission...good months/bad months...the good months I plan on throwing large payments to get the balance knocked down, but the bad months I think I will be able to deal with $100 a month on the suzuki card.

Wait a tick, are you offering to buy it for me? :punk

Sure... ill buy you a brand new k7... you take care of my mortgage(s) for 1yr. Deal?

How far did you want to drive for a bike? Alabama seems to have the best prices.

When you start caring more about the payment than the terms of the deal you know you are about to take a bath. That is probably why you cannot sell your current ride, it's upsidedown? My .02, pay off the one you currently have, the new one is just prettier. We cannot ever reach their performance levels anyway, save your money, buy a house, anything but line the dealers pockets. Good luck; sounds like you will need it.

Dealers do that ALOT. I made the mistake of trusting one of those ads and drove 5hrs to pickup the bike. WHen I got there the dealer wanted to add all these crazy charges and add tax. I tried to calmly explain that I dont pay sales tax in any other states and the fees were bogus.
It got to the point of extreme frustration and I ended up leaving with nothing.
Lesson learned was to put a deposit down with a credit card, get a VIN put on a sales contract, and have them fax you the invoice prior to arrival. This way there is no game playing after a long drive.
If a dealer doesnt want to commit to a sale like that... dont bother with them.

I know you're nowhere near where I'm from. But to just give you some examples...dealers around here are pricing them at about 9999. I saw one store near chicago advertise for 9699. that's the lowest I've seen.

02 Sixxer is paid off...has been for awhile. Not trying to line the pockets of any dealers, hints; why I am trying to find the lowest price. I can't do anything about the interest rate on the card, since I do not want to pay for full insurance but like I said I have been having some good months at work and with my trade I wouldn't be charging the full amount so I could pay it off rather quick. :)

Why does everyone assume that you are poor if you dont buy it cash? Look in your junk mail for a credit card with low balance transfer rates and balance transfer it off of the suzuki card. I got one in the mail last week for 2.99% until the balance was paid off

All of my remaining credit card balances are on 0% apr for 12 months...when that runs out, transfer to next 0% offer that comes in the mail :cheers ....just playing the system :biggrin

Funny how everyone wants invoice pricing. How do you expect the dealer to be there if they make no money on the sale? Everyone want the dealer to be open 7 days per week from 8am top 9pm and sell everything at cost. funny shit.

Because CASH IS KING... you sheep that put stupid shit on consumer credit cards keep Banks fat and happy.

You sound like my neighbor down the street who refinances his house every couple years. The stupid moron doesnt realize every time he closes a loan... it costs him $$$$. He could have put the same money in equity and been done paying his mortgage. And guess what? He drives a "financed" Lexus at $900/month. Id rather pedal my bike to work every day and have the $11,000 in my bank account than look like a fucking dork in an overpriced camry.

Funny how there are people buying these bikes at invoice or below invoice. If you rather pay 2000 to the dealer thats your choice...I know for a fact they need to get units out so they get more money from suzuki and more bikes to thier dealership. If they need to move units, then it means bigger savings for me...I can give two shits about a dealership losing money by selling me the bike at or under thier cost...as long as I save money. Welcome to the wonderful world of sales...btw I sold a Prius at 3000 under dealer invoice today :D ...good old "hold back"
