so i have a questions...Are the outlets of Arrow's Universal Y-connector Piece(eventhough you have a full system) the same position as the stock can? such as do they line up where the old cat outlets do or are they in different positions(in regards to the vertical, height, X direction)

The connecter pipe on the stock header and the full header have the same outlets.

The Jardines didnt give much power the cat really restricts the flow. The bike feels more alive and free!!

I put the Yoshi's on Thur and rode with them on the cat to see how I liked while I waited for the header and at first I was like shit this sound like the stock pipes. So I took the silencers out, (WHAT A BITCH) and it sounded ok but nothing real great. I started sounding better as I rode but man.... When I started that thing with the header on I stepped back and almost cried. I sound so flippin sweet!
I wonder if the great sound was becuase of the removal of the CAT or the changing of the headers. I would have thought that the new headers would be very similar to stock.

no no...what i was asking is does the Arrow Y-adaptor (that removes the cat) position its oulets at the position as the cat did.

like does the outlets stick a few more inches towards the rear tire? or in more, or point out more.

I am not sure if removing the cat made more power or the way the header flows? All I know if I can feel a difference!
Hey OTT you should be getting those rearsets today or tomorrow. BTW excellent info on your exhaust setup. Good lookin out!

The full header is 4-2-1-2. I thought it was 2-1 x2 but its not. The connector pipe is something to consider and would be easy to install, I would say in about 10 min. the whole system took me just over 2 hours to do.

So is it feasible to think that I could run the connector/midpipe and hook up my Jardine GP-1 to that? It looks like the midpipe would exit pretty much the same place the CAT exits. :scratch Sh!t, that would be the setup on the cheap for real. :punk

I bet just replacing the catt with the mid pipe, you will notice the difference. It doesn't sound like a bad idea either since the stock exhause is titanium anyways. I bet the stock cans would sound nice with out the catt. I don't have my bike in front of me but does replacing the cat with a mid pipe remove the exhaust butterfly?

On the stock exhaust, which I believe is a 4 - 1 - 2... the exhaust butterfly is located on the pipe after the header...... When you pull the CAT and replace that with the Y-Pipe it only eliminates the CAT so the exhaust butterfly still remains...
I have read a few posts on here discussing removing the exhaust butterfly....

http://www.gixxer.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2058715&postcount=17

Read this post and it will describe removing the exhaust butterfly... If you bike is still under the manufacturers warranty, I would double check to make sure modifications to your exhaust do NOT invalidate your warranty...

Hope this helps...

yeah i was thinkin the same as RJM, i absolutley love the look and sound of my GP-1. There is no telling how many people I have had comment on both. Could I get that mid pipe and still run them?
