I am plodding along trying to install my web cams. I will be posting pics of my progress from time
to time. First I checked the valves and found three out of spec., and that's on a 5,000mile K3,
weird, must be revving it too much.
Next I am checking the stock cam lobe timing.
I am posting my pictures here as I go along so you all can point out exactly what I am doing
wrong.
This looks like a good place to mount the 'degree wheel', note you will have to replace the
gasket. I usually ignore the 'Replace gasket to prevent oil leak' line, especially on new ones,
but in this case it appears to be made of egg shells.
Zip ties and silicon glue work well to hold the degree wheel. No need to remove that bolt...Feeewwwwww!
Alumi bracket+bolts $3.50 Lowes, dial gauge ~$15 internet, bent valves, priceless.
It fits, WOO HOO.
