I have a white and silver 600, and that factory hugger is really starting to look fugly!thought about painting silver or black, or maybe just replacing it with a carbon fiber one, any pics and suggestion appreciated....

I'll be getting the black puig. I wouldn't draw any more attention to the stock one by painting it. Especially if yours is bent as bad as mine.

My buddy has a the white/silver 600. He painted the hugger silver. He rattle canned that biotch and it came out looking really good. He used honda silver (that's what he uses at work to touch up outboard motors for the coast guard) and the match was very close. The great thing is, due to the location of the hugger it doesn't have to be a professional job to look good. If you like the carbon fiber, go for it... but the silver hugger is alot cheaper and really makes the ass end look sharp. I'm going to paint mine on my 06 750 blue when I'm not feeling so lazy. Get a REAL carbon fiber hugger from Speed Research. They are just completing R/D and they will be available in the next few weeks. The changed the styling a little bit to make sure it does not bend like the stock one.
