hey guys, this is charles #2, im not going to make it tomorrow.... :( im still waiting on my new tires to get in. i don't want to risk riding on my bald tires... when will be the next time you guys meet up to ride again?

Yea basically we've been riding every Sunday and it's probably going to stay that way. I plan on riding every weekend unless it rains or something comes up. And there's enough of us where even if half doesn't show up you still have at least 2-3 other guys to ride with.

Well......:shifty ....That was a rough ride:wtf ......It was a shame to see so much carnage out there.

Indeed..... I swear when we slowed down for the curve and I saw pieces of a bike scattered everywhere and a guy laying next to the guardrail I felt a chill run through my body. I don't think I've ever felt that way before.

Just don't let it get to you to much man...take it as a reality check otherwise you are going to psych yourself out every time you ride. Just remember your limits and don't try to keep up with someone, it just leads to you riding outside of your comfort zone and can end up pretty nasty. Today I was talking it easy after the first crash...I think I have had my share of good riding for a couple of weekends. :D

At least he lived through it. Well, thats why I hold back and cant wait for the track day. Guys, I dont think im gonna head back to ortega for awhile. I have been there 3 times and watched someone crash each time. I dont think it has anything to do with "NEW" riders on a unfamiliar road. I think people get to comfortable and dont realize how dangerous canyon riding is. I seen that shit happen to many times already. Besides, their is just to much traffic on Ortega for my liking. So if you guys are down to ride somewhere different let me know? I think It doesnt matter what canyon you pick because that shit happens everywhere you go. However, im done with Ortega for awhile guys. Im down for Palomar next week? or maybe even ACH hwy?

I wish I got to do more riding today.... my ass wasn't even sore yet when I got home. I think next weekend we should do either palomar or ACH.

Yeah, he wrecked. Pretty bad too, I had a bad feeling he had crashed as he was behind me and then when I looked back I didn't see him. I kept looking back and still didn't see him so I turned around and found him laying by the guardrail and his bike in roughly 1,200 pieces (estimate). That's how it goes, he was concious and was talking to me, he knew what he had done wrong which is good. He's a good guy and he'll be alright.

I figured that he was going to be alright when he started bitching at himself about "target Fixating" Did you guys manage to get the bike home???

I uploaded one on my myspace video and the other one is uploading right now. Is there an easy way where I can send you and Lee all the clips from last Sunday and today?

Well there is Lee's FTP you can uplaod them to. You will have to ask him how to get access to it being that he hasn't taught me how to do it yet:shifty
