I'm looking to get rid of that ugly fender. What are some of the best options of legally mounting your plate with as little hardware and concealment as possible?

Hey Jeffward,

How do you like those tank grips? I have been thinking about getting a pair. Do you mind telling me who makes those and where/how much you got em? Also, is it just 2 pieces or is it 4 (2 for each tank side, and 2 for the little corners or the plastic front tank cover)?

Also, what kind of sliders do you have on your front and back wheel axle's?

BTW, sweet bike! :D

I like them, it adds a little trickness to the bike. Stomp Grip makes them, I got them from the shop I work at but Moto Mummy carries them I belive. I think retail they are around 35 - 40 bucks. They come with 4 pieces.

The sliders are from R&G Racing.

Thanks.:)

Hey Jeffward,
I have the same R&G s frame, front axle, spools and i have ordered the rear axle too. aren t the spools sticking out more than the rear axle slider?
On the left the swingarm slider is out a little more than the cotton reel (spool).
On the right the cotton reel is out farther than the swingarm slider.
I will work on getting a pic. Hold on.

Oops, yea sorry i semi-thread jacked this with my questions.

But back to the topic..... i was at the dealer today and saw a type of license holder i have never seen before. It is a replacement for the rear hugger (in this case it was on a k6 750 paint-matched blue) and it has a attachment point for your plate with a spring to keep it flexed up so it is visible. Then it has a little roller wheel to be able to move on the underside of the undertail when the suspension flexes and lastly there is a little led light to shine on it. I know that sounds complicated but it looked VERY nice. Maybe someone knows what i am talking about?

BTW jefftward, i PMd you. :)

Any and every fender eliminator is illegal.

Competition Werkes sells one just like that, except it doesnt replace the rear hugger...it sliders underneath the hugger.

Its like 90 bucks or so.
