Hey guys, I thought I would stop by and answer a few questions.

How is the daytime visibility of the black face speedo? Looks very good, regardless.

I noticed the black faces for the tach, shown on the site seem to be very inaccurate. Redline starts at 13,500 rpm! It shows every 10,000 rpm interval (1,2,3,4...) instead of every other interval like the stock gauges (2,4,6,8....)

Here are some pics I took to specifically answer this question (I get it a lot). You can definitely see everything in the daytime.

(Click on the picture for a full size image)

Gauges on in direct sunlight. NOTE: I took this picture at an angle due to the sun glare on the gauge cover, but in person you can see everything perfectly.

Here is a picture with the gauges off in direct sunlight.

As for the redline start point, the GSXR 1000 has a black face that ends at 15,000 RPM, the GSXR 750 has a white face, and ends at 17,000 RPM and goes every 2,000 RPM. The GSXR 600 goes to 18,000. :)

I don't have a pic of GSXR 600 gauges. :(

Notice the needle is also different.

Well I emailed him several times a few weeks ago to set everything up so I could ship him my gauges. I even sent him a PM on this site. Took him a couple weeks to finally answer my PM and all he sent was a message asking if he had ever answered my emails. I ended up going through bluegauges.com I had the leds done in green and same with the LCD. I will try to post a pic of it tonight.

Is it just my piece of crap monitor or is the redline messed up? I mean the first portion of the redline is actually blue instead of red....
Yeah he recommended it that way because w/ the blue you can hardly see the redline, so he put a white led on that last partion. You can kind of see the bleed over from the white light at the top of the mph section. Still looks sweet imo.

Sorry to hear about that, I guess I lucked out on that too because I think I emailed him on thursday and he got back to me a couple of times and I ended up getting it done that following saturday. He might have been busy or out of town.

Gilbmd01, did you do the led/conversion install yourself or did you ship your cluster to ledmods.net for the conversion? If you did it yourself how hard or easy was the install and do you have any pics? If anyone else did the work themselves feel free to chime in with input. Thanks
