congrats bro. i have 26k on mine but can't say the same for not doing stupid stuff. but lived and learned.
thats awesome man most bikes dont even live that long anymore due to getting totalled somehow :-( what kind of bike/year do you have?

congrats man. is your bike paid off?
yea its paid off. i was hit in an attempted hit&run 11 months after i purchased the bike. it was "totalled" only because a scratch on the frame. i repaired it for $600 and paid the bike off with the rest of the money. the picture that is linked in my sig is what the bike looks like now after it got totalled for a broken right fairing(replaced) and a scratch on the frame(buffed right out with a high speed buffer wheel and cleaner wax)

guess you could say i got a free bike with no hits against my insurance :D

nice work 20,000.....i would be right up there with you but i learned a little to much on mine, we had a spill couple months after i got her, nothing happened to the bike:punk but the dumb driver (me) got hurt:wacko , so there was 10 months on rehab, and then last year no time, new job and a lot of air travel, so maybe i will get to post later on this year:punk

its awesome to see them last that long..its makes for good conversation:punk

congrats, i'm well over 27,000 miles on my 05 i got as a newb in May 2005. keep in mind i live 1.5 miles from work also. cheers :cheers

Wow, that's interesting. It's getting all sorts of insurance fraud gears turning in my head... jk :cheers

On my last 1100 i was at 56,000 on the clock before I sold it.

well i do all my own maintenance and everything is fine. i did my big overhaul at 19k miles and i changed the oil, coolant, spark plugs, air filter, all brake pads, took all the calipers off and clean them individually before putting it all back together with new pads. i put on a new set of pirelli diablos and then put everything back together and put new brake fluid in and bled front/rear. Only thing i havent done is check my valve clearances yet and the only reason is because every single person with my exact bike that ive talked to about it has NEVER needed anything adjusted when they got their first service and more than a handful of guys have had them checked again at 25k and one guy had them checked at 30k and he still didnt need anything adjusted. im gonna have mine checked though in a couple thousand more miles before the summer riding picks up again
