By clutch perch, you mean on the clip on? if so that is the clutch switch for the safety starting system.
Yea I think its the clutch switch. Its underneath the clutch lever Perch and has sort of like a little button. ... So my next question is if this piece is not attached to my bike would it stop it from starting? Because my bike is not starting and the only thing that has changed since the last time that it was, is this piece. I thought it was the battery so I put a new one in and that didnt do it.

What you need to do is to solder the two leads together, that way it will bypass the clutch switch and disables it. If you don't have a soldering iron, then get the approiate size connector and strip the old connectors off. The only thing that you need to be careful of from now on is that the bike is not in gear when you start it (being that you no longer have to pull the clutch to start it up).

mmh I can solder I work with copper, bronze, and silver alot. Is there anything I can do if i lost the connector,(which i think i did) to bypass it? I sort of follow what your saying but I'm not entirely sure.

You have to use a solder with flux(an agent that allows it to flow), use electronic solder. The two leads that used to connect to the switch are the ones that you want to solder together. You dont need any orginal connector, just strip the wire and solder away, wrap with tape and you are done.
