Got my frame and Swingarm back today. Its a polish and transparent black powder coat. I'm working on getting it all together in the next few days.

SORRY FOLKS I got caught up riding my biotch. I finished her up thursday morning and was out riding the last couple of days. I got a big surgery coming up on wensday and won't be able to ride for the month of july, I'm sure you guys understand. I really need to paint the tank silver when I recoup and I'll be pretty much done with her.

Yeah I know, I'm thinking of doing the subframe and the wheels as well cause I don't like the contrast but I'll work on the tank first. I might try and strip the tank and prime it tomorrow and have my dad spray it on monday. She is definately a work in progress, I started with the motor and I was happy with those results now its just a matter of completing the body work.

I honestly won't know until I talk to the man and find out how much it will cost for the rims and sub-frame. So far the price of the bike and all the mods I have enough to buy a new '06. It has a salvage title on it right now so it needs to go to inspection. The cost of the frame and swingarm is 2000.00 however I paid a fraction of that. I rebuilt the motor and put cams, 750 springs, Yosh Head Gasket, Full duplex exhaust, Bmc filter, and power commander /w custom map. Total cost for the parts was approx. 2200.00 labor was free cause I rebuilt the motor myself, I got a peak of 175 bhp (HP to the crank), rumor has it that HP to the wheels is 10%-15% less. I also had to replace the plastics and the purchase of the bike together was approx 6000.00.

Thanks, I was going to strip the tank today but the weather is so crappy that I'll just wait until I recoup from surgery to mess with it. I have to find a coolant leak today though and drop the oil.
