Chain Question for 750

750 K6.....I need to tighten the chain. Does anyone know the torque setting for the axle nut??? Thanks

It says in your manual, I believe it is 72lbs.

I would check my manual but my puppy tore it too shreds..:cursing I need to order another.

Can anyone check and give me a definite answer?? It would be much appreciated..

funny, I just checked my manual to help you out, but it only gives the torque specs for the front axle, doesnt say anything about the rear axle nut

Yeah I plan on doing that also!!! I think it's geared too tall as it sits stock. I can't wait! How was your chain situation when you went -1? have to take up a lot of slack? plenty of room for chain wear?

What's the top speed when going -1? I'm only concerned because on one of my local tracks it's possible to hit 170+.

I would venture to say around 157-164mph. I have -1 and wouldn't go back to stock.

Well if I can hit 170 with stock gearing down the straight I'm sure I'll be boucing off the limiter with -1 in the front well before I start braking. That's no good.

That's kinda low. I heard the stock gearing would allow for 195MPH if there was enough power to push through the wind. Topped out at 180 or so would be perfect.
