uhh man you guys are retards...zuk made a bike that puts down some serious power and still manages to keep the wheel planted on the ground and you are complaining about that. The 750 was made for turns, go buy and older gixxer and stunt, those days for zuki are over....and wheels are really not that hard to do....i blieve ur skill is garbage. is it your first bike? you need to go get a scooter.

i already stated i was new at wheelies so thanks for restating that :wacko

only reason im half complaining is im so far from a track, id go to a good track wayyyy befor id ever stunt

OK, here's a better idea than jumping all over chain & sprockets-
Practice for a while. If you grab up some extreme sprockets and such, you'll probably get hurt.
Get use to the bike! It can/will do wheelies, their just somewhat difficult!
Oh, and dont call the new 750 stupid.. :wacko

+1
Maybe he meant,"Stupid new 750 k6 rider":lol j/k
Alittle advice on wheelie's...It's a feel and a rythm, not what the tach says! Maybe you should start on a mountain bike:p

yaaaaa your obviously new to this scene. come talk to us in a year when you are poppin wheelies every chance u get. and if u arent new to the bike scene, then you just plan suck at riding and this is your excuse. like ive said in previous posts, i can, and any other halfway descent rider can wheelie anything with two wheels and a motor. even some things without a motor.
Its not about doing wheelie you squid,THE GSX-R is a TRACK BIKE,ITS MADE FOR RACING on a track and turns. Why the hell do you think all 4 Manufacturers are working their ass off to make a faster bike on a track?

Yes,some squids like you can go and buy this bike at your local dealer and you can ride it in t-shirt with flip flop like in your avatar.

Plain Suck at riding? Bring your rig we go on a track see who suck at riding...

Amen

Have to vote this the BIGGEST squid thread of the forum. The australian superstock champ takes a stock 750 to Phillip Island and nearly matches the superstock record. Then this guy thinks the bike is a POS because he can't wheelie. Does it really take three pages? Next thread will be how the clutch sucks because he fried it.

Has anyone asked this guy if he is a tub of lard on a bike?

Yes the K6 750 has a more forward-chasis engine, but is this guy's gut laying on the tank even when he's leaning back?

Your right the new 750 does suck for wheelies and you have to struggle for it to come up. But there are allot of contributing factors so that it doesn't, as some people have already explained. Sportbikes are made for racing and to get as much power and speed to the ground on 2 wheels not 1. Earlier models didn't have the handling or design to match the power like they do today so they would wheelie no problem. As the years go on and technology and design plays more of a factor in how a bike handles, you'll find that all bikes will be this way and better for it.

If you really want it to wheelie than your going to have to make some sprocket changes. I just got mine last week and will put them on as soon as I get my chain tool back.

And why is everyone calling this guy a squid cause he wants to do something different with his bike than just run around on a track. This is the bike he has and this is what he wants to do with it. To each his own.

IM offically dissapointed in how impossibly gay hard wheelies are to do on them.. now im new to wheelies but i was out trying for about an hour. And you would think that no matter how bad your techniuqe on the bike was that if you go to 5k in first gear rev to 11k and drop the clutch that it would come up.. but no.. nothjing but hard as hell jerking in first gear powering up will bring it up and thats scary... and only happens 1/99 times.. grrr

anything that i can do to my bike to make wheelies easy? and i mean easy for the bike not me cause i know i need the skill as well.. thanks

loose some weight:eek

getting hot in here.. good to see some people can still post something reasanable, and i thank them

but i guess ill adress the others anyway..

1. I love my bike, i dont hate it i was just frustrated when i wrote the title, its mean fast and if i had a track nearby i would go race with it..

2. Im 130lbs on a heavy day so weight isnt the problem

Sonic: Let me know how the sprockets feel

The only concern i have on the clutch is that it doesnt engage for quite awhile (about 1/2, 3/4) the way pulling it in making it hard to slip the clutch as some bikes ive been on you pull them in a cm. and the revs will start flying making it 100x easier to do

Also i know its my lack of skill wheeling, i clearly stated i was new at it, it was merley a vent/support thread from the people who are kind enough to give it..

anyway back to the flamers..

I weigh about 245 now and can pull wheelies fine, though I prefer riding hard and hitting corners. Wheelies aren't toohard you just need to figure out the rpm on your bike. I have seen too many guys flip all the way over and dump themselves and there bike, so wheelies are just not worth it IMO.

Jesus guys! What's with all the friggin "squid" posts? Look at your post counts "alexandergsxr", you ain't got any room to talk so shut the hell up!

Some of you guys are telling me that you've never wanted to do a wheelie on your bike or you never have done one? I call BS on that! It's an awesome bike, they all are. Yeah all sport bikes are made for track use! So we all know that. Hence the slogan "own the racetrack", jeese and that's coming from the manufacturer! reality of it is is that there are how many sportbikes in the US and the World even? How many of these do you think are used on the track?

You call him a squid if you want, hell call me a squid, call all of us that do a wheelie a squid. I could give a damn! Your calling yourself one too a-hole. You don't need to sell your bike to buy an older one and learn how to wheelie on it. You don't even need to buy sprockets to do them. Practice on the bike, get comfortable with the bike, learn how to do one without popping the clutch and learn to control the bike. Once you know how the bike is going to respond and how fast it's gonna come up, find your balance point, and work on throttle control. Once you can control the bike, then screw with clutching it if it's really that important to you.

I haven't ridden a 750, so I only know a 1k. you might have to bounce it a little in 2nd to get it up without clutching. Do the throttle snap like previously explained.

Good luck-
Don't pay attention to flamers, they have low self esteems and nothing better to do with their time. I guess this is the only way they can feel better about themselves!
