The fairing has new plastic pins this year. Some are push in to release and some are pull out with small screwdriver. Don't forget to tighten the chassis bolts and muffler too. Or just schedule an appointment for the shop to do the service minus the oil change. Napa lol..

My dealership told me that I would have to drop the bike off for 3-5 days while doing the 600 mile maintenance.

I dropped it off on Wednesday morning and received a call from them on Wednesday night before they closed telling me my bike was ready for pick-up.

I think they give us a grace period to accomodate all the scheduled appointments as well as to handle their walk-in business. But I could be wrong, every dealership is different.

Jesus! What kind of dealers do you have there?
Come on people! This is a easy thing to do for a dealer. Make some pression on them say that you need the bike to go to work like i do. I just have to get there wen they open and wait a lit bit for the bike cool for a while.

Waiting more than a day for the first check up??? nO way!:nono

My dealer had in and done while I watched my son play soccer. They asked if I wanted it back sooner than 2 hours? And it should only take them about an hour at the most, so don't let them charge any more than that!!

guys, you can do this yourself. change the oil and filter, adjust the chain, go over the nuts, bolts, allen heads and make sure everything is tight. that's it.

Yeah, that’s about it….I had to tighten up my throttle cables a bit, but other than that all was good.
