You can, here comes the but, the rev limiter is different. The 11 limiter is set at 10,500 and the 750 is at 14,000(or 14,500). Just don't go past the red area on your tach.
I dont know if it matters or not. But heres the tricky part. Which one fits the California model? Which one fits the USA 49 state model? And Which one fits the rest of the world? But like I said. Im not sure if it matters.
Be very careful when buying CDIs on ebay or wherever. People really have no idea what they are selling. I bought a CDI that the seller claimed would work for an 88 750 motor. But it actually was a 1100 CDI:mad I found this out yesterday. AND I AM FUCKING PISSED!!! Ohh did I mention. The auction said "absolutly no returns on electrical parts":hammer
it will run on a 750 cdi, but rev limiters and advance curves are different. if you just wanted to hear it run you can use it, i wouldnt suggest using it long term though.
