I've started to notice at above 200kph im getting really bad wind buffeting (on the racetrack ofcourse). I've tried getting into a full tuck behind the screen but the screens are that small on these bikes that i cant get behind it, even with my head as low as possible im still looking over the top of it. Will a different shapes screen make a difference i currently have a puig screen. I tried tucking my elbows in tight thinking the air was going down the back of my jacket, because it was just my jacket doing it to start with but if it continues long enough my helmet starts it aswell, shaking my head that much it effects the clarity of my vision.

Anybody had much experience with this issue not sure if its the screen or me.

Cheers Tim

I find the Zero Gravity Double Bubble screens work perfectly for me,the different shape of the screen allows my old, decrepit body to tuck in out of the wind.

Bonus: cruising/commuting on the highway sitting upright in a normal riding position, the Double Bubble redirects the airflow up&over my helmet so I don't get the annoying wind buffeting and wind noise compared to the OEM screen.

Few different shapes/heights to choose from:

Are you using a double bubble / touring model or an oem replacement?
I'm running a K6 750 on the track for a few years now. Using screens from F.Fabbri, both their Double Bubble and Solo Pista models without any buffeting.

In full tuck my field of vision is completely through the screen.

For perspective: 1.78 and 80kg geared up.

PUIG says that they wind tunnel test every screen that they make. But in the fine print it says "virtual" wind tunnel, so that's a bit of a bust. In any event they're downloadable, albeit somewhat hard to find. Go to puig.tv and search. Here's one for a K9-L1 1000:
https://puig.tv/uploads/products/600002/4933/aerodinamyc-test.pdf

They claim that their Z-Racing screens are significantly superior to standard. "The Z-RACING windscreens have been tested through our virtual wind tunnel and improve the aerodynamic coefficient and wind protection on an upright position with a 12.7% average compared to the original. And a 61% average on a racing position."

Take it for what you will.

I can tuck but it becomes difficult when im 6ft 2". I seem to be looking above the screen with all my gear and helmet on. It's a double bubble puig screen. Was considering chucking the factory screen back on to see if that makes any difference. Might have to bite the bullet and try a zero gravity one. I was sure it was the wind going down the back of my neck but pulling my elbows down tightening the jacket made no difference.
