You serious?

The saftey requirements for racing cars compared to racing motorcycles share almost NO similarities.

Nascar races cars at 200 mph inches from concrete walls. Would that be safe for motorcycles? Um..... NO.

I'm not familiar with Watkins Glenn but I'd bet it's not safe enough for motorcycles... not even close.

Just googled it and found some pics - looks like the run-off areas are indeed way too small if you're not inside a 3000lbs safety cage...

Bikes don't run at Watkins Glen due to safety reasons - mainly the gaurd rails on the side (there's like 5 foot of gress that separates the asphalt from the gaurdrail in some places) are too close ... not enough run off areas at the Glen. You've seen how much run-off areas MotoGP wanted changed for Laguna - Watkins Glen can't even come close to those new Laguna Seca run-off areas.
