I am assuming you talking about spooled/standard rear stands. Go spooled. I don't like the standard stand at all. The pads make putting the bike up and down alone very difficult. Get a little oil on the pads and the swingarm slides all over the place. Spooled is the only way to go.

As far as the front stands go I like the one which picks the bike up from under the triple tree as opposed to the fork stand.

BTW, you need a rear stand in order to use the front stand.

cools guys, how tough is the spools to attach also what if i wanted to use it for mulitple bikes do most bikes come with the spool holes these days?

Easy, an allen bolt slides through the spool and threads into place on the swing arm.

I know most of the Su-zooks come with the spooled rear, Gixxers, TL's, etc...

Most Hondas do not come with spooled rears with the RC-51 being the exception.

Most Kawi's come ready for spools.

I don't think the Yamaha's come ready for spools.

The thread and spool size may vary between bikes though. The stand will be the same but the spools might be unique from Suzook to Kawi for example.
