Wheel Sensor in the way of the front stand

Hi team,

I got a new 2022 GSXR-1000R and the wheel sensor is right where I normally put the front stand (see picture). Have you guys got this problem? Do you just undo the sensor to move it a little then put the front stand in the normal spot? I've not used this type of front stand before is that the right spot for it?

I just found this. Like I said- you could cut the peg that interferes with the sensor or just buy this from pitbull.

Great find! I think I’ll order one.

Here is what it looks like using the standard Pitbull stand and leaving the sensor installed. You will notice the bolt holding the sensor in place protects the sensor itself.

I’ve cut one pin and also put my trolley jack under the exhaust
Yes you can certainly lift the front with it but you can’t get the wheel off is the issue. Can you even turn the wheel? I ordered the pitbull because my stand is for multiple bikes and Id like to have a standard and the special cut version. Ill let you know how it works out.

Obviously you'll need to remove the wheel sensor to remove the front wheel. If you're taking the wheel off, you remove the sensor first then lift the bike and this entire topic becomes a non-issue. I remove the front wheel using this stand all the time to change out tires. But the sensor is removed first and the stand is centered (approximately) on both forks.

I lift the bike without removing the sensor anytime I want to do maintenance that doesn't require removing the tires. I also lift the front (and rear) every time I wash the bike as it makes it infinitely easier to clean the front wheel when I can spin it freely. I also lift the bike without removing the sensor anytime I'm traveling for more than a week and I won't be able to ride.

Okay this is true. I did catch myself lifting the bike by the sensor, so I guess that is the problem for me, dumdum. Lol
