Here is what it looks like using the standard Pitbull stand and leaving the sensor installed. You will notice the bolt holding the sensor in place protects the sensor itself.

Yes you can certainly lift the front with it but you can’t get the wheel off is the issue. Can you even turn the wheel? I ordered the pitbull because my stand is for multiple bikes and Id like to have a standard and the special cut version. Ill let you know how it works out.
Obviously you'll need to remove the wheel sensor to remove the front wheel. If you're taking the wheel off, you remove the sensor first then lift the bike and this entire topic becomes a non-issue. I remove the front wheel using this stand all the time to change out tires. But the sensor is removed first and the stand is centered (approximately) on both forks.

I lift the bike without removing the sensor anytime I want to do maintenance that doesn't require removing the tires. I also lift the front (and rear) every time I wash the bike as it makes it infinitely easier to clean the front wheel when I can spin it freely. I also lift the bike without removing the sensor anytime I'm traveling for more than a week and I won't be able to ride.
