My brother has a 1998 GSXR 750 and every since I rode it I've wanted one. Also I'm in college and it's almost impossible to find parking! I want to try to find a 1996 GSXR 600. What would be some things to look for when buying a 600...What things normally go wrong with them...what should I expect to pay...Could I get a 1996 GSXR 600 w/10,000 miles for under 4k???Thanks guys I'm kinda new to bikes so go easy on me!!!

2) Condition of frame, forks, MAJOR susp. components after the get-off/s
3) current tire condt.
4) jetting effectiveness?? -- does it purr, or cough??
5) repair-a-bility of damage/s--cosemetics too!
6) Condition of drivechain/ sprockets.....
7) how does she go, and stop, and turn????
8) CCT replacement done....and done witha manual CCT??
LOTS OF THINGS ID NEED TO KNOW< FIRST....
go over it witha fine toothed comb, and take a friend with some knowledge, if possible.....

Get the VIN and run it past your local DMV(free over the phone) they can tell you if the bike is stolen/totaled/who it's owned by...
