Hi everyone. I'm new here (but not new to riding). I recently purchased a 2012 GSX-R750 and I found this cable just sticking out of the right subframe above the rear brake caliper. Does anyone know what this is and what it does? Sorry if this has been asked before.

Yes it's a standard battery tender connection. Also handy for checking battery voltage without removing the seat. The exposed pole is negative.

I'll probably remove it when I have the time. I would like to leave it in there but living in an apartment, I don't have any electrical output to hook it up to a battery tender. Thanks for the replies.
