A few of my riding buddies want to take a trip to the UK. One is in has late 40's and the other in his late 20's....Of course we would be renting bikes, but the problem that I face is that I'm only 23. Is there any place that would allow me to rent a bigger bike then a 125? We will be riding 1000's of miles and would need saddlebags, etc... to make the trip and Eric (40's) said that a 125 wouldnt be able to make the trip.
I would really like to do this, and was hoping someone would help me out in getting a bike.
One option that they brought up is that I could buy a bike and have a buddy of Erics sell it when I leave...It will be a 7 day trip/ride.
I still see an issue with that because I am not 25 (minimum age req. for a larger bike) so would I only be able to buy a 125cc if I went that route...
Also if anyone is willing to rent me their bike I will pay the equivalent of a daily rental.
I can send you in the right direction mate. As long as you come to London for the bikes you will have no problem just bring a big deposit. There is no age minimum.
Any UK GSXR forums anyone can recommend, or that aren't graveyards?
This one seems busy, but the info is often so USA-biased it's as good as useless. to me.:crying:
Could really do with a UK based website that will know more about more UK-based products/suppliers/info.

It used to be the blue color scheme, but according to the DOT it’s now red. It’s also now...
Hello
I'm really struggling to get a quote on a new GSXR1000R in London, has anyone had success with any specialist brokers? I've tried all the usual, Carol Nash, Bikesure etc. They just don't seem to like the postcode of my garage. I have the option to store the bike at my work, 1/2 a mile...
