If anyone saw AP yesterday, the sports reporters were calling him "bionic" and "not human" :lol

He literally stops to throw a tackler out of bounds, with one hand, then proceeds to the end zone:lol

He threw #24 right off on to his ass!!

Seems like a tough guy to! To be bleeding and glue it up and get right back in to the game! My hat is off to him! :thumbup

Everyone laughed at me when I said he would be the best to come out of that draft and called all the teams crazy for passing up on him because of a broken collar bone. How he slipped to #7 I will never know. Just like how Brian Orakpo slipped to 13 I will never know. Give it a couple seasons and he will be one of if not THE best player to come out of this draft.

I'm betting AP is the highest paid RB in the league when a contract is renegotiated

I didn't...I was saying exactly the same things. Of course, being an OU fan I followed him closely for years. And he's still getting better. I've even heard comparisons to Jim Brown already. I don't know, but he's fun as hell to watch.

Jim Brown talked about AP highly, which started a small controversy that had LT upset, saying AP doesnt deserve to be recognized with Brown yet, as he is only on his 3rd year. I call BS, he WILL be one of if not the legend in running backs for a while.

If the kid stays healthy he will be a monster on the books. Runs hard, runs fast... Real deal, just gotta work on not putting the ball on the ground. Out of the teams that passed on him can't really call them crazy or dumb seeing as you draft for team needs...

He ended up with the team that best suit him. Since the days of Robert Smith the Vikings have always had runners. And out of the teams that did draft Joe Thomas went arguably one of the best tackles in the league and Calvin Johnson one of the arguably best receivers... Vikings lucked out for sure! Some times its about landing in the right spot ala ben roethlisberger... I'd hate to see AP running in Detroit or Oakland not that he wouldn't put up numbers but the schemes would all be different for him.

Oh but back on topic... Viks 1-0 but it was far from an impressive win over the Browns.
Minus AP's one man show. One man shows don't win titles.

After he threw off #24 you see him stiff arm the next guy as well? Haha funny stuff. Vikings should go far this season. Hopefully Farves old ass doesnt get injured? haha

I'm from a small town in New York, and we played Mike Hart in high school when he was a JR. (the guy from michigan) and AP and him were in the same class and I had to put up with so much bull shit from my friends just because we played mike hart they all thought he was the greatest thing ever, he was good but like i've been saying since he was a freshy at OK he is the real deal.

LOL that is funny. Mike Hart was a great running back as im sure NYS records prove. I'd like to see him play AA ball though instead of what class C? If your an athlete at that level your going to shine ! I can assure you AP was playing 4A-5A kids. Silly shit like that doesn't happen against teams with speed, size and discipline. And he did that quite often.
