Please help me !!!!!

First of all. My bike was serviced last week for engine oil, filter, air filter and spark plug (iridium). I have the problem since before i serviced my bike.

There has been a vibration in the handlebar real bad and it sounds like maybe something plastic is vibrating. This sound will not occur all the time I ride my bike for example, it will be 2 days occur and one day not.

I am sure my fairing is tight because i removed it and re-install when i serviced my bike (Front, left and right fairings). I also check my engine by spraying sonax to 4 headers and all the cylinders work fine (Hot).

I was wondering if someone could lend me a hand if they have already had this problem on their bike. It only does it at around 5,000 rpm, in any gear, its really annoying and makes me panic.

Best Regards and thank you in advance,

Kirk

My wife's bike had a problem similiar to this. It turned out to be a noncut frame slider vibrating at exactly 6,000 rpms in any gear. We used some double sided tape to cushion the slider and that fixed the issue.

my 02 gsxr used to have a vibe around 5k rpm as well. i put rubber washers between the windscreen and the fairing stay and it kept it from sounding like vibrating plastic. These bikes do vibrate more at certain rpm then others.
Washers worked for me too.

I had the same issue on my K9, and I just put a piece of electrical tape between the windscreen and fairing in the one spot on each side there is no wellnut between them (middle screw), and my buzz went away.

My K8 600 had a pretty nasty vibration that really difficult to place the origin. Took the mirrors off for a track day, and had to take the screen off to replace them. After I'd done the screen screws up nice and tight, all vibration noise was gone. Happy days.

have the same vibration in the left handlebar, might be the clutch cable, (never did a clutch adjustment after i put on my ASVs) repositioned the cable and it subsided, waiting to do a clutch adjustment this weekend to see if it really is the culprit. mines an 09 and the clutch cable lays over the block under the seat. It has to be this or the levers.
