My clutch is insanely hard to pull.. I always thought it just had an old cable in it that needed lubing or replacing, however today my new cable came in, and after installed.. its just as hard to pull. The clutch works fine.. never any problems shifting or anything.. but just really hard to use. Any tips on anything else I could check or do? 2005 GSXR 6. Also it is stock clutch (to my knowledge) and everything looked in good condition behind the clutch cover and lever.

If you bought it used, there's always a slight chance that someone swapped out the clutch springs for aftermarket ones which would be stiffer. Make sure you have it adjusted properly, cable routed the correct way, and I would go ahead and lube the new cable again anyways, just to make sure it's not a sticky cable.

Could be after market clutch springs, or depending on how stiff it is, could be a worn out lever pivot making it difficult as well
